Whether it’s a cracked lateral or a full septic install, we handle the dig and the pipe.

  • Sewer line repair — Portland’s older neighborhoods run on clay and cast-iron laterals, many of them 50+ years old. Root intrusion, cracks, and bellied pipe are common. We excavate, replace the damaged section, and reconnect to the main.
  • Sewer line replacement — When patching isn’t enough, we replace the full lateral from your house to the city connection. New PVC pipe rated for decades of service.
  • Septic installation — New septic tanks and drain fields installed to county code. We handle the excavation, tank placement, and connection.
  • Septic repair — Failed drain fields, damaged tanks, and clogged distribution lines assessed and repaired.

Most residential sewer line replacements take two to four days — excavation, pipe installation, inspection, backfill, and surface restoration. Depth, length of the run, and soil conditions are the main variables. We’ll give you a specific timeline at the estimate.

Yes. All sewer and septic work in Washington County and the Portland metro requires permits and inspection. For septic, you’ll also need a site evaluation from the county before installation. We handle the permit process and walk you through any county requirements.
